Level:  Business/Strategic

As the winner of the Excellent Service Experience Award 2013, Bank Central Asia, one of the leading commercial banks in Indonesia, set an objective to continue to invest in and develop its range of products and services, provide superior service to existing customers, cross-sell to high-value customers and other customer segments, and attract new clients. They knew they needed a robust, accurate MDM implementation in order to achieve these business goals.

In order to achieve business sponsorship, BCA's technology group had to demonstrate that the project risk could be mitigated. Specifically, they had to assure management that (1) the MDM "golden profiles" across the full data set would have the quality and consistency necessary to meet BCA's business goals, and (2) the MDM would contain all of the organization's data and be ready for production within six months. Attendees will learn:

  • How BCA utilized advanced diagnostics and analysis to determine - prior to undertaking the implementation - the time, cost, and resources necessary for full-volume MDM, and the specific quality level they would achieve at production rollout
  • How BCA came in significantly under their required six-month timeframe and within budget for full-volume production implementation
  • The positive impact of having accurate MDM capabilities on BCA's business operations
