It provides expertise and services for collections (formatted reports) from regulated bank holding companies and other financial institutions. It is responsible for over 70 collections used to: monitor safety and soundness of a regulated entity; set monetary policy; provide cross-border information; and ensure banking regulations compliance. Internal customers include: Bank Supervision; Credit and Payment Risk; Markets; and Research. External customers include: FRS Board (Monetary Affairs, International Finance), Treasury, Banking and Federal Agencies, and the private sector. \nStatistics’ key value is quality and timeliness of the data provided to the data consumers. Statistics selected the Data Management Maturity Model as the instrument to measure its internal processes, validate strengths, and discover opportunities to leverage its expertise and services to its stakeholders.
