Level:  Introductory

The goal of the Data Governance Exercise is to present attendees with a set of data and interactively evaluate the data individually, then re-evaluated in small teams. Attendees will learn:
  • The value of analyzing Data Governance issues as part of a team, rather than individually.
  • A process in which to sell their home user communities on Data Governance (take this exercise home with you)
  • A means to operate a Data Governance committee that focuses on collaboration and keeping the mission statement of Governance in mind

Mark has been working with data for the last 15 years, getting excited about Data Governance in 2008, and continuing to be a fixture on Twitter, engaging Data Governance thought leaders since 2009.
