Data governance relates to the management of data, ensuring quality and appropriate availability in a manner in which the entire enterprise can best leverage what is available. Organizations are recognizing this need and are developing processes and procedures and adopting tools to achieve this goal. CA, with its suite of ERwin® tools, provides the underlying infrastructure required, with both information architecture tools as well as process and management tools.

These tools include the new Data Governance edition of the Web Portal for release 9.6, with a web based data documenter, agnostic data modeling tool support, semantic definition lookup and semantic impact analysis all integrated with a web based Business Glossary fully governed by necessary yet flexible management rules and processes. CA now provides you with the tools to help you extend your existing information infrastructure and to develop the practices necessary in order to build a robust data governance solution based approach within your organization.

Join us to see an introduction to these new features that will help support your efforts in getting your arms around ALL your data assets.
